The Spirit Molecule

Something you probably didn't know: There is a naturally occurring psychedelic drug found in the human body called DMT. Its natural function is undetermined, but it may be produced by the pineal gland and excreted during dreaming and right before death. Apparently it is also found in plants and animals and can be extracted and smoked in a crack pipe, but not eaten. Many people who have used this drug have experienced things they say can not be described with words, and often involve a feeling like ripping through the time/space continuum, out of this reality in an alternate ... universe? realm of perception? and seeing alien-like beings who often interact with the person.

Some call DMT the Spirit Molecule, I guess thinking that this process allows your spirit to separate from your body and enter another realm, which presumably according to this theory happens at death, but also nightly when you are dreaming. Interesting that scientists don't really know why if your body isn't allowed to dream, you go CRAZY and DIE (while rats normally live for two to three years, those deprived of REM sleep survive only about 5 weeks on average, and rats deprived of all sleep stages live only about 3 weeks.)!

Probably just drugs, but what if? ;)

This is a photo of newly elected Massachusetts senator Scott Brown. And yes, he is nekked. Does anyone honestly think that if any female ran for senate that had posed naked as a centerfold model would be elected? And now there's talk about him running for prez one day. Well I guess if past alcoholism and drug use are OK for a president of the USA, why not porn?

All I'm saying, its not that there's necessarily anything wrong with the photo, it was taken way before his career even started, its just sickens me that any woman in the same exact situation would be shunned and ridiculed.
