By the way my grandfather, whom I just visited, is in the hospital with pneumonia. They say he probably won't leave the hospital alive.

I feel your pain concerning your grandfather. My remaining grandad is in bad shape too as you know. It kills me to see him wasting away so it's excruciating for me to visit him. I think it's great that you got to see your grandad this summer. I'm inspired to go see mine.
Why does no one tell me about this stuff. He's my saba too.
