not too bad for hags

Anyway, in other news, GPS is my hero.

Jake was one of only 10 kids in his school to be invited to audition for this prestigious childrens choir. Its very exclusive and a big honor to even be invited. Unfortunately, about a week before, he wigged and decided he didnt want to do it, mostly because his teacher had psyched him out by talking nonstop about how none of the kids from her school had been picked last year.

*sigh*

well I made him go anyway but promised I wouldn't make him sing. Which he took me up on, unfortunately. Even though after practicing in the car on the way there he seemed like he was considering it. Wow that kid can stand up to some pressure, though! Not the kids in his class, nor his teacher, nor the director of the program could get him to budge. While waiting for his class to finish auditioning, the director talked to him a little and was really nice. She told him if he changed his mind he could audition with another group, or by himself, or tomorrow.

In the end, he decided to come back the next day and audition! awesome.

A photo of 'girls night out' with chicks from highschool days a couple of weeks ago:
We went to a club called Mosaic where they let us in for half price because we're girlz :)
There was a pretty good DJ there named something like DJ LOVEGROVE. Yes Ang & I must have been in the bathroom when they had the 'lets all wear bright patterned dresses tonight' conversation, and yes, once again, I win the smallest head contest.
We don't look too old do we?
