So this past weekend was insane, between having a rescue dog delivered Friday night to deciding, also Friday night, to indeed drive to the Outer Banks, NC Saturday morning, and then deciding Saturday morning to take the dog with us, it was an exhausting stressful, emotional whirlwind!
Anyway, it was beautiful in Corolla, NC and the beach house was astounding. Considering my beach experiences as a child consisted of camping out at the state park at Assetique Island with the wild horses (cool) and the mosqitos and biting flies (VERY VERY NOT COOL!), this was UNBELIEVABLE. Just look at the photos! No not just one floor or section of this house, but the entire thing!!
Crazy ! I almost had a nervous breakdown about getting the rescue dog, who came with the name Dewberry although we aren't sure if we will keep calling him that or not. For now we have been, though, or Dewby for short, which also means teddy bear in hebrew. Unfortunately its also another word for weed but whatever!

Yay, you saved a life! Isn't it an amazing feeling? And so cute. (In Esperanto, "dubi" means "doubt". In Chinese, it can have many meanings depending on the intonation, but favorite is 嘟鼻 "honk the nose". Other creative possibilities include 黷婢 "insult the slave girl", 讀屄 "study the vulva", and 蠹蹕 "the bookworm clears the streets for the touring Emperor".
