I am being a bad influence on my boyfriend and encouraging him to adopt a puppy.Much like kids, life is so much simpler without a puppy.
But its soooo cuuuuute! So, who cares!

Tell him to adopt an adult dog. They're also wonderful, but are more likely to end up unadopted and euthanized.
Hell with that. You never know what you're gonna get with an adult dog. Tell him to get a puppie, that way he can train it.
You never know what you're going to get with a puppy either. And with an adult, you're saving a life.
